Subsidy Slabs
How much you can claim
PM Surya Ghar subsidy for residential rooftop systems, by capacity.
Up to 2 kW
₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW of system capacity.
3rd kW
An additional ₹18,000 for the third kilowatt of capacity.
3 kW & above
Total subsidy is capped at ₹78,000 for systems of 3 kW or larger.
*Subsidy structure as per the PM Surya Ghar scheme. Final amounts are subject to government policy at the time of sanction.
